Walter Gray also currently serves as executive vice-president and a director of Gray & Company, Inc., the parent company of Delta Title Corporation.
A graduate of Loyola University of the South, he has worked in the insurance industry since 1975. He has been a member of the board of Delta Title since 1996.
T. Howard Leach III
Howard Leach is an attorney with extensive experience in insurance defense law. He began his career as a claims adjuster with The Gray Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Gray & Company, Inc.
He has maintained a private law practice since 1985 and has represented both Delta Title and The Gray Insurance Company in all aspects of defense law, including civil and maritime litigation, federal and state workers' compensation, personal injury, property and casualty and product liability litigation in federal and state courts. He earned bachelor's and law degrees from Tulane University.
Wallace H. Paletou
Senior Vice President
Wallace graduated from Tulane Law School in 1966. Since then, he has specialized in Real Estate Law, Successions and Wills. He is a member of the American and the Louisiana State Bar Associations; in the past, he has served for several years as Chairman of the Title Examination Committee of the New Orleans Bar Association.
In 1978, Wallace founded Advocate Title Corporation, which became a successful and well respected title agency in Metairie . In January, 2001, Advocate Title's operations were merged into Delta Title Corporation. Wallace is Senior Vice President of the Delta Title Corporation and serves in the Metairie Branch as a Closing Attorney and consultant to staff and clients.
Carolyn Lalla Bailey
A real estate closing attorney with over ten years of experience, Ms. Bailey joined Delta Title Corporation in 2009 where she examines title, cures title defects, and conducts closings for the Company's residential, commercial and REO transactions.
Ms. Bailey, an experienced and often-requested lecturer on real estate property issues, is authorized by the National Association of REALTORS™ to teach the required “Quadrennial Ethics” coursework. She is certified by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission to teach both Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education courses. More importantly, Ms. Bailey is one of the fewer than 100 statewide instructors instructors authorized to teach the LREC's mandatory course
D. Winn Venable
Responsible for Commercial Services since 2005, Ms. Venable works closely with the the firm's commercial clients, attorneys and underwriters to ensure that these complex transactions are handled confidentially and smoothly. Since 2005 alone, Delta Title has processed commercial files valued from $50,000 to $25,000,000 and ranging from free standing buildings to large industrial sites.
With a background in administration and organization, Ms. Venable joined Delta Title in 2003 and has worked on updating and codifying the Company's procedures while managing the firm's closing software documentation. She has been a member of the the Delta Title Management Team since 2004, and participated in the development of a company marketing plan that, in conjunction with a reduction in expenses, has seen both file volume and revenue increase during a difficult time for our industry.
